Service

Logistics platforms

We build systems for freight and dispatch: rate calculation that breaks the route into legs, transport requests with history, documents and emails, and shipments with containers and route sheets. Our basis is the system for a road freight carrier (live) and dispatch tracking at a plant (a prototype).

Animation: a truck drives along a route on a map through hubs, a marker lights up at each hub, and a price column builds up from segments — one per route leg.

When you need it

Situations that bring people to us for this service.

  • Rates are calculated by hand

Leg tariffs, hubs, special zones and surcharges are put together in spreadsheets — slowly and with mistakes.

  • Freight status by email

To find out where a request is, the customer writes and a manager searches.

  • Dispatch on paper

What went into which vehicle is only visible on a paper sheet.

  • Partners need their own storefront

Resellers want to sell under their own brand with their own markup.

What's included

  1. Tariff and route analysis

Legs, hubs, zones, surcharges and exceptions — how the rate is calculated today.

  2. Rate calculation

Chargeable weight, route legs, direct or transit — price and lead time at once.

  3. Tariff tables

Updated by uploading an Excel spreadsheet — no developer needed.

  4. Transport request

Consignments, addresses and collection windows, documents, statuses with reasons, emails.

  5. Dispatch shipments

Containers and loose items, a vehicle, a route sheet, a check before departure.

  6. Partners

Partner sites with their own logo, language and price coefficient.

  7. Data exchange with accounting

Reference data, staff and operations sync with your accounting system.

What you get

  • A description of tariff rules and routes
  • A prototype of the calculation on your tariffs
  • A request and shipment system
  • Customer and partner accounts, if needed
  • Code and documentation that are open to you

The project path

From the first conversation to daily use

Every step ends with a decision: go on or stop. We don't start the next one until the previous one has given its answer.

  1. 01

    Getting to know the task

You describe the process and what gets in the way. We reply by email with questions and arrange a call.

  2. 02

    Discovery

We study the process with the people who work in it and write down what the system must change and how we will check it.

  3. 03

    Prototype

We build a working prototype of the key scenario to test the idea on real data rather than on polished screens.

  4. 04

    Pilot

We run the system in your real environment with agreed outcome criteria and a deadline. After the pilot we decide together whether to go further.

  5. 05

    Launch and growth

We bring it to daily use: reliability, access rights, links to other software, documentation, support. Then we develop it based on user feedback.

Questions about this service

Our tariffs are complex — can the system handle them?

In the carrier case study the calculation covers route legs, hubs, special zones, islands, oversize and dangerous goods, and partner coefficients.

Is there tracking on a map?

Not in our published case studies: the freight status lives in the request, and dispatch in a shipment with scans. Connecting trackers we discuss for the task.

Who updates the tariffs?

An administrator — by uploading an Excel spreadsheet.
